What we collect

When you use RoastMyWebsite, we collect:

• →The URL you submit — so we can analyse it.
• →A screenshot and HTML content of the submitted page — used for AI analysis and included in your report.
• →Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information beyond what's listed above.

How we use it

Your URL and page content are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your roast report. The screenshot is captured via a third-party screenshot service and is used for visual analysis.

We use this data solely to generate your report. We do not use your data for training AI models, marketing, or any other purpose.

Data retention

Reports and associated data (URL, screenshots, analysis results) are stored temporarily to allow you to access and download your report. We do not keep reports indefinitely. Download your PDF — that's your permanent copy.

Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

• →Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• →Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis. Your page content is sent to their API for processing.
• →Screenshotone — website screenshot capture.
• →Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (only with your consent). IP addresses are anonymised.
• →Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (which pages are visited, how long people stay). This is loaded only after you give consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

Stripe may set essential cookies during the checkout process. These are strictly necessary for payment and are exempt from consent requirements.

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your report data at any time by contacting us. Since we don't collect personal information or require accounts, there's very little data to delete.
